Victor Malu, former chief of army staff, has died. Malu died at the age of 70.
Ben Adoor, a family source said Gen Malu died on Monday morning at an hospital in Cairo, Egypt, where he went for normal medical check-up two weeks ago.
The former ECOMOG Commander (Peace Keeping Force), from August 1996 to January 1998 was Chief of Army Staff during former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration May 1999 to April 2001.
