Sterling Bank Warns Customers Against ‘KiaKia Loan’

Sterling Bank Plc has denied having any partnership with the promoters of KiaKia Loan, The Green Nation Empowermeent club.

In a message to its customers, the bank warned that the club is clearly out to defraud people

The message read:

“We understand that a fraudulent message has been circulating on a Sterling Bank partnership with a “The Green Nation Empowerment Club” encouraging customers to participate in some form of multilevel marketing to earn millions of naira in a few months by applying for a BOI (Bank of Industry) KiaKia Loan.

“They are proposing a scheme where you apply for a loan, then sign up other customers, the more customers you refer, the higher your level and returns.

“Please be informed that Sterling Bank has no such partnership and customers are advised to treat this information with the caution it deserves and delete it. We advise you to be mindful of fraudulent messages like this and remember to keep your banking details safe.”
