Deputy Governor of Borno State, Zannah Umar Mustapha has died.
Mustapha died in Yola, Adamawa State where he had gone to represent the state at an official engagement.
He died in his sleep of possible heart attack, according to reports.
The incident was said to have been discovered by the Deputy Governor’s aides after they noticed he had woken up to observe his morning prayers this morning.
His corpse is currently said to have been taken to the mortuary while preparations are being made to transfer it to Borno State for burial.
The Borno State government is yet to formally announce the death.
