Evans will appear before Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo.
Attorney-General of Lagos State, Adeniji Kazeem is expected to lead the prosecution team.
The suspect, who had been in police custody since June 10 when he was arrested in Lagos, will be facing charges of armed robbery, kidnapping, and murder among others.
Lagos State Government had on Thursday last week amended the two count criminal charge filed against Evans, and five others standing trial before the Ikeja Division of the state high court.
Evans however made a dramatic u-turn by pleading not guilty to the charges he had earlier confessed to.
